I found out about these cars in 2012. I worked at a dealership and in our lobby they were playing a video with a bunch of old car ads from the 50s and 60s. One was the Dauphine. I had a giggle at the feature of having a city and country horn. heres the ad.

I think I only learned about them in 2013. I was reading about AMC, so I had to read about Renault. I laughed when they talked about acceleration. I the 0-60 was about 32 seconds a Beetle is about 28 seconds 0-60. “Lets make the camera go fast.” Because it is a slow car.

A Gordini would be lovely: 4 speed, 4 wheel disc brakes, and an engine upgraded to 55 hp.
